At Gyminny Kids, giving back isn't a side project; it's part of who we are and is one of our company's core values: "serve and give back." Since 1987, our mission "Fun & Fitness" has been to build stronger, more confident children. Over the years, that mission has expanded beyond the walls of our gyms and into the communities we serve.

Every child deserves access to movement, confidence-building, positive mentorship, and the joy of being active. As a family-owned company with five kids of our own in the program, we understand how important it is to support schools, families, and organizations that shape the next generation.

Over $850,000 in Donations — and Growing

Through Coaches Cup, real estate commission donations, charitable partnerships, and community school support, Gyminny Kids and the Gundert Family have contributed close to a million dollars to children's organizations, families, and local schools.

Coaches Cup

Our annual Coaches Cup fundraiser has become a signature event, raising money for child-focused nonprofits such as Rady Children's Hospital.

The Coaches Cup event that Gyminny Kids founded, focusing on "Kids helping kids," alone has contributed over $100,000 to families and children in need through Rady Children's Hospital.

Real Estate Commission Donations

Through Daniel Gundert's real estate business, half of every commission is donated to children's charities, including Rady Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Hospital, adding another $75,000 in donations and further extending Gyminny Kids' impact beyond gymnastics.

35+ Years of Giving to Local Schools

For close to four decades, Gyminny Kids has donated an average of $20,000 per year to local schools across San Diego County through raffles, auctions, events, sponsorships, staff hours, and direct contributions.

That's over $750,000 in giving to schools alone.

But our support is more than monetary.

We donate our time, coaches, equipment, and energy because each school is part of the community we serve.

How We Support Schools — Completely Free

Every year, Gyminny Kids partners with dozens of local schools surrounding each of our locations. We provide free services, prizes, activities, and event support to help schools create memorable experiences for students. Here are just some of the ways we give back at no cost:

  • Career coaches who run group activities on campus

  • DJ services for school events

  • Demonstration team performances

  • Staffed booths with games, prizes, and giveaways

  • Mobile gymnastics obstacle courses

  • Inflatable set-ups for school events

  • Free open gym passes for teachers to give out as class prizes

  • Free camp and open gym certificates for raffles and auctions

Partnership With Purpose

Whether it's a fun run, field day, class party, carnival, fundraiser, or end-of-year celebration, Gyminny Kids shows up to support the people who support our kids.

Our goal is simple: help schools create unforgettable moments for their students, for free.
