The year-over-year growth, especially at the upper optional levels, speaks volumes about the long-term athlete development happening inside our gyms.
We are especially proud of the many first-time competitors who stepped onto the competition floor this weekend, particularly our Xcel athletes and our Development Program Level 2 and Level 3 gymnasts. For so many, this was their very first meet experience, and they showed tremendous courage, focus, and composure. Their strong performances are a direct reflection of high-quality coaching, world-class facilities, and incredibly supportive parents who trust the process and show up for their kids every step of the way.
One of the most exciting takeaways from this weekend was the depth of our program at every level. We’re seeing large, thriving Level 2 and Level 3 groups, strong momentum in the middle levels, and, most notably, a growing, competitive Level 7–10 group on both the girls’ and boys’ sides. This kind of full-spectrum development reflects years of intentional coaching, long-term vision, and a commitment to developing athletes through a positive gym culture. As we continue to expand our optional programs, we’re proud to be cementing our status as a top-tier gymnastics gym in San Diego.
From first-time competitors to seasoned optional athletes, this weekend showed exactly what happens when strong coaching, consistent training, and a supportive community come together.
We are incredibly proud of:
Our athletes’ confidence and composure
The professionalism, care, and leadership of our coaching staff
The families who filled the stands and supported every routine
This was an outstanding start to the season, and we can’t wait to see where this year takes us. To learn more about our competitive team programs, click here.
