North County Gymnastics Hosts and Wins South Conference Meet

On February 8th, North County Gymnastics & The Gyminny Kids had the honor of hosting the South Conference Boys Meet at our Carlsbad location.
It was one of those perfect Southern California days. Our 23,000-square-foot coastal facility, blocks from the ocean, was buzzing with energy as close to 200 athletes from across Southern California competed under clear skies. The sunlight glistened off the Pacific, and the ocean breeze drifted through our open roll-up doors. It was a picturesque setting for competitive boys' gymnastics.
And our NCG athletes delivered.
39 NCG NCG Athletes Competing on Home Turf
North County Gymnastics fielded 39 competitors:
NCG 4S Ranch — 26 athletes
NCG Carlsbad — 13 athletes
Gyms in attendance included AGILITY, AZARIAN, CHAMPION, CAMERON YMCA, MISSION VALLEY, PCG, SCEGA, SEAWIND ECKE YMCA, Sokol Elite, and others.

North County Gymnastics earned:
1st Place Large Team — Level 3
2nd Place Team — Level 4
1st Place Team — Level 5
Team Score Highlights:
Level 4 — 144
Level 5 — 160.9
21 Event Champions and 2 All-Around Champions
Across all age groups and divisions, NCG athletes captured:
21 individual event golds
2 All-Around champions
Two compulsory athletes broke the 54.00 All-Around mark:
Simeon Ling, Level 4 Division 1 — 55.1
Richik Mukhopadhyay, Level 3 Division 1 — 54.5
Additional highlights:
Preston Tsai, Level 5 Division 1 — 1st Place All-Around, 52.7
Arjun Anand, Level 3 Division 2 — 1st Place All-Around
