North County Gymnastics Delivers Dominant Weekend Across Southern California

Team podium sweeps, championship finishes | February 27–March 1, 2026 Meets

February 27–March 1 Competition Results

From February 27 through March 1, 2026, North County Gymnastics and The Gyminny Kids had compulsory and Xcel athletes competing in two major meets simultaneously.

Our girls competed in the Winner's Cup at the Ontario Convention Center, which hosted nearly 3,000 athletes. Our boys competed at the SCEGA March Madness meet in Temecula.

By the end of the weekend, NCG athletes earned team trophies, all-around championships, and event titles across multiple levels.

It was one of the strongest collective performances of the season.

A Remarkable Level 2 Podium Sweep

One of the most memorable moments of the weekend came during the Level 2 team awards.

Against deep and competitive fields, NCG teams captured all three podium positions:

NCG Poway – 1st Place Team: 115.85

NCG Carlsbad – 2nd Place Team: 115.075

NCG 4S Ranch – 3rd Place Team: 114

Seeing three NCG teams standing together across the entire podium was powerful. It reflected preparation, alignment, and dedication across locations.

A Program Built on Depth

This weekend was about hard work paying off. It was about depth across the board. It was about our Level 2 teams sweeping the entire podium, our boys bringing home multiple first-place team trophies, and athletes from our locations continuing to perform at a high level.

More than anything, it was about athletes who showed up mentally prepared, handled pressure, and competed with composure.

The medals are fun. The rankings are exciting. But what really matters are the life lessons behind those results.

I'm proud of every athlete and coach. And I'm grateful to the parents who trust the process and support what we're building.

Proud.
